Everybody wants to be happy but we must always learn to weigh our happiness to see its effect on others and the rate at which it affects our lives and other people’s life by then we can determine from there, what is actually good from bad.
We have previously discussed on moral, free will and what makes a good and bad actions, which leads us to the 3 negative effects of Bad morals and how it affects the path we choose in life.
We have discussed earlier on free will and freedom, how it affects lives and align with morality.
1. Personal life
2. Social life
3. World in general
1) Personal Effect: One of the effects of bad moral is that it can deeply affect the path we choose in regards to our personal lives and this could damage our reputations in life; bad moral could also tarnish our image in public and it could as well give a bad reputation to our family.
It is of no doubt to see the rate at which young adults out there live a life that are not well spoken of. With this kind of attitude they indirectly tarnish their parent’s image and promote negative impact on the society and this has to be corrected.
So many youths out there would not listen to their parent’s teachings as they end up with bad friends who influence and indulge them in immoralities, such as fraud, scam, robbery, stealing, murder, rape, cultism and all sorts of negative things which in turn affect their personality.
Infact there are families who encourage their children into these immoral acts just because of the poverty level in the country which has built a negative poverty mindset In many, while many get caught on the run others escape but do not have a fulfilling life, many became money ritualist and others who are caught face a long term in jail.
The Lazy Youths
Many children care less about the negative impact of the bad effect of the moral they teach all they need is to get rich without working for it in the right way. But they tend to forget that the path we choose heavily counts at the end, as the adage goes “what we work so hard for stays long with us”.
2) Social Effect: The effect of bad morals goes a long way in how it affects social life and our society. Effect of bad morality start and originates from the home that is the family we came from, our background.
When children are not well trained they in turns destroy the reputation of their parents and family. However, it is not the fault of the young adults alone but mainly the fault of the leaders who fails in their responsibilities. Most youths are unemployed, they could not find a means of survival rather they do the negative things.
Lost Hope And Unemployment
The lack of employment automatically promotes the effect of bad morals and leaders also refuse to give the young adults a chance to express and exhibit their values as they wish to.
The youths are the leaders of tomorrow but the future of tomorrow seems to be unclear, as the youths have not in any way gotten the chance to proof to the world their zeal for leadership.
The youths are said to be the leaders of tomorrow but the old ones refuses to let go of their positions, this is a bad moral which leads to negative effects on the society and the people in it.
Most youths have lost hope on the positivity and the possibilities of leadership to change the world especially in most African countries, because the leaders and the elders have failed in their moral responsibilities, conducts and teachings in encouraging the youths on how to go about things in life.
Many young adults failed because they lost hope on their dreams, Visions and future as the negative effects of bad morals which they emulate from the leaders keeps trending.
Many children now find themselves doing the opposite of things. They can’t think straight any more, they get no form of encouragement but rather get influenced by bad influencers in the society, as they get caught in violent actions such as robbery stealing, scam, fraud, murderer and many other despicable act which in turn affects their lives.
Youths are desperate to make money, they are not worried about the negative effects it could pose on them and how it could promote bad morals.
3) How It Affect The World: Another effects of bad moral on social life is when our personal lives are affected, it affect our social life and directly affects the world. Though the world comprises of both Good and evil but the rate at which evil takes the lead is so alarming and it has to be corrected.
When a family develops a good moral life, it affects the society and also affects the people in and around it and the world at large.
Promoting a good moral life begins from the home. This in turn encourages our parents and leaders to guide and teach their children to live a good and moral life and to understand the bad effect of bad morals.
Bad morals promote and develop poverty growth mindset, violence and war. It promotes a negative and all sort of bad actions. When bad morals affect our personal, social and the world in general it directly affects the economy, growth and development of a nation.
Isn’t it time to teach good morals rather than letting the effect of bad morals destroy everything which we have laboured so hard for, now and in the coming year?
